Cherrybrook Kitchen Cookie and Cake Mixes
picture from cherrybrookkitchen.com
As I mentioned in the "getting started", there are some things, like pre-made mixes, that are great to have starting out. Cherrybrook Kitchen things are one of those things that sweeten your life starting out dairy-free and egg-free. This company uses strict allergy controls which is always music to allergy sufferer's ears.
I have tried the cookie mixes, pancake mixes, and cake mixes. They have many gluten-free options too, so check them out!
Waffles
Van's waffles are really tasty and come in different flavors. My favorite, pictured here, is the blueberry. I find them at local stores (like Martins and Kroger) but Whole Foods has the bigger selection. Check out your local health stores or online too.
Again, if you're on a tight food budget, I recommend only buying these until you get good at making DF/EF waffles yourself, as they are a little pricey.
Bread Crumbs
I know many people make their own bread crumbs, but I've not ventured there yet. These are great because they are both dairy-free and egg-free (and they are certified Parve and Vegan)
They are great to make the tops of casseroles crisp and crunchy, as well as breading for meats or veggies!

egg-free Egg Nog!?!
Yes, for those special holiday occasions, So Delicious even makes a egg-free and dairy-free Nog!
I never much cared for egg nog (drinking egg grosses me out) but I really like this stuff. It has a sweet creamy cinnamon and nutmeg taste. Check out the company's site for more information.
Local grocery stores often carry it around Christmas/New Years time.
